I’m Ney

a pregnancy and birth doula based in the Casey area, servicing South East Melbourne and surrounds.

I live with my wonderful husband, two daughters, and four fur babies. Yes, it’s as chaotic as it sounds!

Being a mum has always been my deepest desire, and I’m so grateful for my girls. As a family, we value trusting our instincts and cultivating a home that is loving, respectful, and focused on connection above all else.

I can’t live without coffee, will never say no to a cheeky cocktail, love being outdoors, and am usually in bed by 8 p.m. watching Friends for the millionth time. I’m down-to-earth, empathetic, and all about genuine connections.

I have a social work background with six years of experience working with children and families, supporting individuals impacted by trauma, and most recently, I’ve worked in a busy hospital setting.

I became a doula after my own experience of birth trauma and postpartum depression. My hope is to create a safe space for women to feel heard, informed, and empowered to make the choices that are right for them. I have since had a beautiful HBAC (home birth after caesarean), which reaffirmed my belief in the power of informed decisions and respectful, individualised care.

My Approach

I recognise that every experience is incredibly unique, and I believe every woman deserves to feel empowered, respected, and valued throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. As your doula, my hope is that you are given the opportunity to celebrate this time in your life and reflect on your journey positively.

My approach is deeply rooted in autonomy. I’m here to respect and advocate for your right to make your own decisions, based on your unique values. No matter how or where you choose to birth your baby, I’m here for you. I offer education, resources, a listening ear, and encouragement so that you feel well-informed and confident about birth and motherhood.

I’m also a strong advocate for mental health, recognising that emotional well-being plays a vital role in our experiences of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. As your doula, I’ll provide not just physical support, but emotional care, ensuring that you feel heard, seen, and held every step of the way.

You have everything you need within you to birth and mother your baby. I am simply here to hold your hand and support you in whichever way you need.

I’d love to connect with you and discuss how I can support you on your journey
